“Recent Impact Craters and Human History” with Dallas Abbott (Apr 2006)

“Recent Impact Craters and Human History”
with Dallas Abbott

Originally presents 8 Apr 2006

Dr. Dallas Abbott explores distant regions and the ocean floors for subtle evidence of some of the greatest catastrophes affecting our planet: asteroid and meteorite collisions. During the past few years, Dallas has shared her explorations to places such as the South Island of New Zealand, where she found evidence of a great tsunami that featured in Maori oral traditions. In this Workshop, she will provide an update about her recent investigations.
