My Cousin’s Animal

 

 

DECISION MAKING THROUGH GROUP WORK

                                                 SAVING THE *TINCT.

                                                            *SO IT DOESN’T BECOME AN EX

 

Your cousin has left you a pet he purchased in his travels. It is a Tinct.

You don’t know what a tinct is but they are fairly common in some places on Earth.  The tinct begins to act as though it were ill.  What do you do

to save the tinct?

Below are 14 actions.  Discuss them with your team members. Rank them from 1 to 14 with 1 being the most important.

 

____Take its temperature

 

____Put it in water to see if it can swim

 

____Look up and read about the animal’s natural habitat.

 

____Check its mouth for infection.

 

____Ask your friends what medicine you should give the animal.

 

____Make a list of the animal’s physical characteristics such as type

            of feet, teeth, color, etc.

 

____Look up and read about the animal’s food and water needs.

 

____Collect some waste droppings to examine.

 

____Force feed it with dog food.

 

____Adjust the temperature and light to be similar to that found in the

            animal’s natural habitat.

 

____Use  reference books and compare the list of characteristics of

            other animals.

 

____Observe the animal.

 

____Collect a blood sample to examine under the microscope

 

____Offer the animal a drink of water.
